Who is your favorite NEW MKD character?

My favorite new MKD character would have to be Kira. Although, I don't exactly like her storyline, but, she is very sexy and she is quick and tough (after all, she does have the moves of Sonya, the toughest chick in the MK series. :D ) I hope they expand her storyline next time around.

I had to go with Havik on this one, I like the idea of his being a cleric of chaos and being able to do death defying trick (Neck Snap). Also he reminds me of the Grim Reaper all he is missing is the scythe.

i really like kira and thought that MK needed a different type of chic.. i believe she is definanlty an individual. There is no female character like her!

I like the idea of an ascending demon, although I was hoping that would be applied to Scorpion, and in some way maybe it has. While Ashrah wasn't everything I hoped for in the early stages of the game's development, and her ascension seemed far too easily accomplished to me, I think they can still do more with her story. She's not my favorite character, but her story seems the best out of all the new ones.

I'm sorry, but giving Kira moves from Sonya and Kano makes her in no way unique. There is nothing more annoying to me than characters that rip off moves like Jarek and Kira.

I have nothing against a female Black Dragon, and I'd greatly appreciate it if Kira was better developed in the future, but sex appeal alone doesn't justify hybridizing old characters. The person who created her admits his intentions to make her sexy in her concept art, and doesn't do much to save face.

When Kira actually gets distinguished away from Sonya and Kano, then, and only then, will it be possible for me to like her more. Until then I'll always prefer Sonya.

my favourite new character is Shujinko, I like him gameplay wise the most because of the sheer amount of combos he has, but I also like how he is centered (sp) around Konquest mode.

Havik is also very good but I prefer Shujinko

NNOOOOOO!!! Don't vote for Shujinko. That's what they want you to do. He's a limy thief. He stole Kung Lao's moves and all the good special moves in MKD. He's just an old thief.

My favorite characters to play as is Kira, Havik, Darrius. I don't like Hotaru, Dairou, Ashrah but I like The Dragon King so that's why I voted for him.

For me it was a tie between Havik and Shoujinko..... I picked JInko :D . Havik was a cool fighter becuase he was different, most new fighters were pretty crappy.....*coughs* like Kobra and Darrius .

I picked Kira, mainly because when it comes to moves, I allready knew how to use Kano really well in MK:DA, so using her wasn't that hard.

Havik rules all, if only for saying "Oh man, this is gonna suck!" after being punched into the Sky Tower death trap.

I chose Havik cuz I love the fact that its hard to tell whether hes evil or not. Hes nuts. I think Kobra is the worst character. He seems like hed fit better in street fighter. And yes, his teleport punch is completely a scorpion ripoff, specially cuz for all of the klassic games scorpion had a teleport punch instead of a kick. He had the FIRST teleport ability!

I actually think that Kobra's teleport punch is sort of a rip off for Scorpion's Teleport Kick. And also, it will get boring to see two similar things on two different characters. It just urks me. I like originality.

Like Kira for instance. She's like a clone of Sonya and Kano. Boring as it seems though, I still think she's a great character but she's more like Kano. Then again she IS a black ragon so maybe that's why they put her like that.

Kira needs to have some moves of her own, so that she actually stands out from everyone else, in the fighting department. But, besides being Kano and Sonya's love child, I like her look and I think Kira's story has alot of potential. Another new character I like is Ashrah, I enjoyed her story about how she is on a journey to become good and ascend from the Netherrealm. Sounds like a classic "Bad guy turns over a new leaf" story.
