Hmmm, as much as I hate Jax, the Gotcha Grab from MK2 is awesome. For all the fancy and flashy moves/powers ever invented for MK, there's something about reaching out to 'touch somebody.'

MK3 Sub Zero's Ice Shower(s) come a very close second - thier strategic value is often under rated.

Sub-Zero's freeze attack. Just the normal one. It's a big advantage and the comp doesn't always block it. If it weren't for Sub-Zero's freezing power, I wouldn't have beaten most MKs so fast.

Well, Scorpion's spear is by far my favorite. The throwing, the 'Get over here!!'ing... oh yes.:yes

Also I like Sub-Zero's ground freeze(Always foiled the stupid CPU in MKII for Genesis), and Jax's Gotcha Grab- that one is intrestingly different from the other signature moves. :cool:

as iam a scorpion fan too his spear throw is my fav too ,sub zero's normal freeze come's 2nd and baraka's blade fury move was kool.

Definitely barakas Slice (note: back+hp). Its so original and very effective in running combos

i like kenshi's psycic powers the best, it's so much fun, i got my uncle so angry cuz i kept doing the psycic push and i didn't let him touch me.

I like Noob's special moves in MK. The one where he teleports down and land up slamming their face was very fun to do and it won several victories.

My favorite powers would have to go to Raiden w/ his lightning abilities. Scorpion comes in at a close second w/ his control over the furies of hell.

It's almost impossible for me to decide. But between the Spear and the Freeze it's obvious: the spear brings your opponent right to you (eliminating the need to move in while the window of opportunity closes), is more realistic, actually does some damage, and has added personality with the "get over here" touch.

Three words: GET OVER HERE!! I also liked the Freeze, Jax's Ground Pound, and Kano's Eye Laser. My friends are cheap and just do Johnny Cage's Hook Kick all the time, so I make sure they never land it by picking Kano and doing the Laser Eye over and over again.
